1. Introduction of Arashiyama Monkey Park
There is a monkey park located in a mountainous area in Kyoto, and there you can see the macaques living peacefully.
To visit Arashiyama Monkey Park, you need to walk about 40 to 45 minutes in total in the mountain (uphill to get to the top, and downhill to come back), so wearing comfortable shoes is recommended.
The Park is located at an elevation of 160 meters (524 feet) above sea level, where you can see a panorama of Kyoto city (weather permitting) along with monkeys.
