1. About your vaccination status

  • Vaccination is not mandatory to book/take a tour of Kyoto mansai tours; no need to show your proof of vaccination when taking a tour.

2. During the tour

  • It is recommended to wear a facemask when you feel necessary; for example, on a crowded bus / train / places for your health and safety. However, it is not mandatory as you can enter anywhere without one in Japan.
  • Babies / small children do not have to wear a facemask even in the above-mentioned situation, as they may have a difficulty breathing with the mask covering their nose and mouth.

[NOTE] Other guests outside your group will not participate the same tour. Basically, maximum FIVE people for each tour/group. Tours are meant for a family/ solo traveler/ small group.

3. Recommendations

  • Carrying a hand sanitizer, wet wipes, and extra face masks can help you feel safer and comfortable during the tour; these things can be purchased at convenience stores/supermarkets/pharmacies in Japan.
  • Not all restrooms in Japan do not have hand soaps, so the hand sanitizer may especially be helpful after washing your hands with only water.

4. About the guide's vaccination status
