1. Introduction of Kanchi-in Temple
Kanchi-in Temple was founded in the mid-14th century by a Buddhist monk Gaho at the wish of Cloistered Emperor Gouda. Before that, this place was the academic center of Toji Temple.
The Kyakuden (Reception Hall) is 1605 reconstruction and is a national treasure. The front garden is a beautiful rock garden created in a recent year.
