1. Introduction of Nanzen-ji Temple
Nanzen-ji temple is well known for its magnificent gate and its beautiful Zen gardens.
Those gardens include rock and sand gardens with special meanings.
Paintings on paper screen doors inside the buildings also look impressive.
This temple was originally founded in the 13th century, but the current buildings are reconstructions from the 17th to 20th centuries.
