1. Introduction of Rokkaku-do Temple

“Rokkaku-do”, or the official name "Choho-ji", is a Buddhist temple established by an imperial prince in 587 AD.

 

“Rokkaku” means “six corners”, as the roof of the main hall is hexagonal.

 

This temple is also known for its beautiful cherry blossoms in Spring and the large willow tree in the precincts along with its long history.
