1. Introduction of Seiryoji Temple
At Seiryo-ji Temple, most of the current buildings were rebuilt in the 18th century while the origin of the temple dates back to the 9th century.
The main object of worship, the 9th-century statue of Buddha, is usually kept hidden. Even though you cannot see it, you will still be able to enjoy other parts of the temple, feeling the long history of it.
The gate, main hall, pagoda and scripture house look so grand - we will walk through the temple precinct to appreciate them in the tour.
