Updates on booking information as of May 24th, 2022

[Revised on May 26th & June 13th, 2022]

On May 20th 2022, Japanese government announced that they will start reopening the borders to some foreign tourists from June, and will also ease quarantine measures.

The maximum number of people who can enter Japan will be set about 20,000 per day from June, and that number will likely be changed depending on the situations.

Notes added on May 26th:

Prime Minister Kishida announced today that the borders will be reopened for a limited number of foreign tourists with package tours accompanied by tour guides, from June 10th. As of now, it is still unclear when a large number of foreign tourists including individual tourists can enter Japan again, without the restrictions.

If you are planning on coming to Japan as a tourist, I recommend you check what kind of packaged tours can actually bring you to Japan on what conditions and please follow the latest guidance from the official bodies, before departing your country.

I am sorry that Kyoto MANSAI Tours [Fumiko] does not offer package tours at the moment. My tours are basically one-day tours meant for individual tourists.

If you are planning on booking a one-day tour with Kyoto MANSAI Tours for the future when the restrictions are lifted / further eased, please read "COVID-19 measures" including "Relaxed Policies Related to COVID-19" before booking.

Thank you very much for visiting this website.
